Mary Valerio Lewis

Biography

Mary A. Lewis-Valerio died Monday, March 10 at the age of 77. Mary was the daughter of Adelieda and Inocencio Valerio of Ranchos de Taos; sister to Margaret, Dan, Pacomio, and Gilbert; mother to Genevieve Vigil and grandmother to Rachel Ortiz and Nicola Trevisan. She was preceeded in death by her husband Richard Lewis. She spent most of her life in the California bay area and returned home to Taos to retire and be close to her family. Mary, a true lady, will be missed.

Rosary was recited on March 13, 2008. Funeral mass was held on March 14, 2008. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church.
