Biography

Menard A. Martinez Sr., 89, of El Prado passed away on January 22, 2014. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Loretta Rael, grandson, Jason Rael, parents, Juan and Sofia Martinez, brother, Maxwell Martinez and sister, Alice Martinez Knight. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bettie R. Martinez, children, John A. Martinez (Louella), James Jimmy Martinez and Menard J. Martinez Jr., grandchildren, Tammy (Juan), Brian (Rosita), Ryan (Anita), Janice (Jason), Lisa, Lori (Jonathan), Rianna (Jesus), Sophia (Justin), Enrika (Carlos), Menard III, Antonio, Carlos (Naomi), 23 great grandchildren, special niece, Sofia Cisneros, special sister in law, Cecilia Santistevan, special cousin, Marie Martinez Trujillo, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on January 26, 2014. Funeral mass was held on January 27, 2014. Both were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment following at the Dolores Cemetery in El Prado.
