Forever in our Hearts
Michael Aaron Sanchez, age 25, passed away on February 25th, 2021 in his Albuquerque, NM residence.
Michael was born on August 23rd, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Santa Fe High School and served in the U.S. Army after high school. He was a few short months away from finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico with honors. Michael married his high school sweetheart, Nadine Sanchez, in 2019.
Michael is survived by his wife, Nadine Sanchez; mother, Debbie Crowley; adoptive parents, Shellie Sanchez and Alex Castillo; siblings, Jonathan Longerbeam, Chelsea Sanchez, Yahjaira Sanchez, and Maria Sanchez; parent-in-laws, Cecilia and Reid Rivenburgh; and several loving friends and family members.
Michael was incredibly loving and would often leave flowers and love letters scattered throughout the home for his wife to find. Michael was always one for adventure and would enjoy spending time in the outdoors and riding motorcycles. He loved animals, especially his two pups, Java and Luna.
He had a tenacious thirst for learning new things from writing computer code to make games, teaching himself to play the guitar, becoming an expert cook (to his wife’s delight), learning photography, and working on home improvement projects. He never lost a game of Monopoly. Ever. He often spoke fondly of the fun memories he had in childhood playing with his siblings Jonathan and Chelsea.
Michael will be forever missed by those who knew him.

Here is Michael with his two siblings. Michael is the one in the middle he was about 6 months old in this picture he is the baby of the family. From left to Right Chelsea, Michael, Jonathan. Michael was a wonderful child when he was a baby he would hardly ever cry he was a board by his brother and sister he wanted so much to be like his older brother he thought the stars hung from Jonathan. Michael had a hard childhood but he didn't let that defeat or define him. Michael Loved the thought of family families that visited each other for holidays and he didn't get that from my family family gatherings none of that I wish I could have given him more. Michael wasn't also in a young body from the moment he learned to walk from the time in first grade where he tested in the genius category he always took extra classes. In elementary school in Nevada, las Vegas. If I could talk to Michael right now this is what I would tell him. Michael you were my last child my baby from the moment you were born you smiled Just like your brother people would think you were the the lool who's talking baby. . You shared that with your brother Jonathan because he got the same attention every time he went somewhere. Michael if I could have a chance to talk to you now I would let you know what a gift you were to me and Sean your dad he was only a dad for a short time I believe when you have such big hearts met sometimes you don't know what to do when there's pain I know one thing that you did love was the family the idea of having grandparents come and visit and you never got that only from Sean's mom we would go down to Overton, NV and have bigThanksgiving dinners and it was a family and when Sean died all of that left us and I know that it hurt you as much as it hurt me and your brother-in-sister. . Michael being your mother was such a privilege I had three beautiful children and you all are so smart and loving. I am going to miss you so very very very much I am taking it day by day right now I keep thinking I'm going to wake up. I'm going to keep an eye on your wifey and she's a wonderful woman and her heart is broken right now, We all miss you so very very much You were the light in our family I love you and I will miss you through the rest of my life that I know someday we'll all be together again and you're in good hands with Sean he loved you so much and now you are together in heaven
