Monica Lynch-Anaya

October 23rd, 1962 - December 14th, 2016

Biography

Monica Anne Lynch-Anaya, 54, left us suddenly on 14, December 2016, she received a once in a lifetime opportunity from above that required an abrupt and immediate departure, the Boss would not take no for an answer... Please forgive her for not saying goodbye, it was never her forte. Monica is now joyfully reunited with loved ones long lost where they are all dancing up a storm, she, in a beautiful red dress. Monica is tending to her garden daily, singing (in tune) to her favorite music, eating the most delicious meals (though she does miss Joe's cooking), and snapping tons of pictures of all things beautiful, especially sunsets and hot air balloons! She now has her own studio with endless supplies to draw and create...included in is this new position is time to read and soak in a claw footed tub surrounded by candles and towels that are beyond luxurious AND where she doesn't have to do laundry! She asks us all to join in the celebration of the completion of her life's path with us.
Monica began life with the loss of her twin 3 months into her mother's pregnancy, miraculously and with great tenacity she held on until it was her time to arrive on 23, October 1962. Full of a deep loving wonder she never abandoned, Monica starting as a Jersey girl, she conquered, amongst other things, a club foot, braces, glasses, a cleft palate and Pennsauken High School. Having gone to business school, Monica moved to Santa Fe in 1995. She first worked at Quail Run then later ran her own successful cleaning business, through which she created an amazing extended family. Monica met and married the love of her life, Joe Anaya, and had their son, and her razon d'tre, Joseph, in 2001. Monica was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a caring daughter to William and MaryAnne Lynch of New Jersey, daughter-in-law to Hilario and Pilar Anaya (SF, NM), and dear sister to AnneMarie Lynch (SF, NM) and Peter Lynch (Jacquie) of Willingboro, NJ. She leaves countless nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Monica was preceded in death by her nephew, Devin Lynch, USMC and her aunt - RoseAnne Dillenschneider. Ever the hard worker, Monica had innumerable close friends and was a confidant to many... Guileless and full of joy, she was easy to fall in love with. In living life, Monica chose to see beauty and love, and her sweetness will forever be missed. In lieu Of flowers, contributions for Joseph Gabriel Victor Anaya can be made at Los Alamos National Bank.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 5:00p.m. at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Kiva Chapel. Please bring your stories, thank you.
I LOVE YOU MOM!
