My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Great Aunt Nolia. My earliest memories of Aunt Nolia were when me my family and I would visit Nolia and Martine in New Mexico, Brian Daniel and I would all be hanging out prob causing trouble somewhere lol. I remember always wanting to play Martine's drum set, what a sweet drum set he had. God be with all of them up there in the sky, we love all ya guys. Aunt Nolia had accomplished so much what an amazing person. "Somehow we are all like the great artist's who never get much attention while alive but in death are worth so much more." A bit of humorous cynicism, it's not that we are not important or that we are even ever forgotten while we are alive but I believe life can and is taken for granted. My blessings.
Love,
Clarissa

Nolia will always be a cherished memory in my mind & heart. Nolia could make anyone laugh and always was the life of the party, along with my dear daddy Orlando who passed 3 weeks before her. Together they will be making God laugh. They are together wherever they are. Me and your "Guardian Angel" Sally Garduno whom you used to call that, loved you so much and will miss you dearly. Thanks for the great times and talks. Love you and rest in Peace Nolia!

You Are Not Forgotten
You are not forgotten, loved one nor will you ever be, as long as life and memory last we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by we'll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face no one can fill your vacant place.
The one memory I have of Tia Nolia was when I was small & she would tell me and family how much I looked like Monclovia (Nolia's sister). Cant say I didnt enjoy all the attention.
She will be sadly missed by all here in Colorado.

Nolia gave me my very first job. I think I was 14 and it was at the Studio Theater selling popcorn. I never could talk her into letting me sell tickets. That was my dream :-) But I am sure she knew what she was doing. It was fun working for her. Knew her many years and always admired her. She was always ahead of her time. RIP Nolia!

To the family and dear friends my deepest sympathy. My dad and mom (Augustine & Martha Trujillo) took us to visit Tia Nolia in New Mexico a lot when we were young (Chris, Brian, Clarissa and myself).I LOVED visiting her and I clearly remember baby Jesus in the crib every time we went to visit. She made everyone feel so comfortable during our visit and I do remember Uncle Frank being with us in New Mexico and enjoying one on one time with Uncle while there for the first time ever. He made me laugh a lot. I was very young. Way back then Chris and I used to hang out with Martin on our visits and I can still see Martin in his blue car and I clearly remember hiking through the dry lightening stormy night (amazing) through the brush following him like little puppy dogs using the lightening to guide us to visit his friends and back to Tia Nolia's in the night. Much love to the family and sending prayers.
Love,
Melissa

I remember the time I met Tia Nolia. I had just started dating Frank and he invited me to go to New Mexico. We spent time with Tia Nolia and she made sure that we went to church with her. She was always so kind. She was going to cater an event during the time we spent with her. She was a wonderful cook! She and Frank always enjoyed talking about all her community/political involvements. I know that Frank and Tia Nolia are doing the same today.
