Gutierrez Family: Sorry to hear about your mother's death. She was a good friend to me and my family. My daughter and I enjoyed visiting with her and picking her cherries. I did not hear about her death until weeks later due to my father having a stroke on Father's Day and helping my mom with him in the hospital. I will miss her very much. My prayers are with you all.

It seems like every time I turn around some one I know passes away. The one thing unique about your passing is that it helps me appreciate my grandma, grandpa and family and puts me in a different perspective, one that I can reflect myself upon as a member of a family that can carry eachother through the thickest of troubles and loss. Thank you for helping me.

Olivama, what can I say? You were a great person and the best mother-in-law I could ever hope for. We sat and talked several times about life, my Love for your daughter Barbie and many other subjects. Now that you are gone, I think we all feel a great emptiness in our hearts and souls because you are no longer with us here on earth. We all love and miss you and it's hard here for us that are left behind. When my grandmother(Nan)passed away, who I loved dearly, I was given something. I would like to pass that something on to you and the people who Love you. It goes like this:
A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall. And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side.
Now, you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted the rose blooms there.
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving care.

There are no words to tell how much your mom ment to me. For the better part of three years I was at her house more than mine and she had no trouble setting me straight.She was always someone I could count on and I am glad I got the chance to tell her I loved her.
