Onofre M. Archuleta was born February 6, 1939. She passed away December 31,2021. She was 82 years old. Onofre was a kind hearted lady. She loved to cook. People loved her cooking. She worked in a restaurant in Abiquiu. She would invite friends to come down to eat. She liked to go to the mountains to camp with family. Her favorite thing to do was to sit outside and smoke a cig with her coffee and talk about the olden days and how life was so hard for her in those times.
Onofre is preceded in death by her mother Pablita Martinez, sister Eliza Martinez, husband Narciso Archuleta, son Narciso Archuleta Jr., and daughter Sonya (Pokahantas) Archuleta.
Onofre is survived by her two brothers Pete Martinez (Ida), and Mike Martinez, daughter Sunseria Dominguez (Saul Franco), sons Edwin Archuleta (Melissa Lopez), Jerry Archuleta, grandchildren Jesse Treadway, Muarice Archuleta, Javier Dominguez, Franchesca Solomon, Irin Archuleta, Darrin Archuleta, Trevin Archuleta, Ethan Archuleta, Renia Archuleta, Angelina Chavez, Orlando Archuleta, Herman Mireles, great grandchildren Jesse Jr., Latasha, Richard, Marcelino, and Isaiah Treadway, Josephine Dominguez, Carlos, Aliyah, and Demetria Mendiola, Adriana and Angelic Martinez, Jazmine Dominguez, Michael, Gabriel, and Esme Solomon and Malaya Larkin, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jesse Treadway Jr., Irin Archuleta, Isaiah Jordan, and Randy Dominguez.
Honorary Pallbearers are Orlando Archuleta, Herman Mireles, Jesse Treadway, Maurice Archuleta, and Javier Dominguez.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Saint Thomas Church in Abiquiu, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Saint Thomas Church in Abiquiu, NM.
