Patrocinia “Patty” “Tita” Rael, 99, of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. She was born February 12, 1919 in Ildefonso New Mexico, the daughter of Severino Roybal and Candelaria Quintana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alberto “Beto” Rael; two daughters, Consuelo Rael Murphy and Maria “Mary Ann” Rael. She is survived by her 4 grandchildren: Nathaniel Murphy, Rebecca Tuton, Jack Murphy and Fred Murphy; Great-grandchildren: Jaxon Tuton and Liam Murphy; close cousins: Dolores “Lola” Gonzales, Pita Reyes along with many nieces and nephews and many other cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kiva Chapel of Light located at 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM.
A mass will be held at 9:00am Tuesday, Aug 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will follow at 10:30am at the National Cemetery. Her family is requesting memorial contributions be offered in her name to: Mary Knoll Sisters
