Shirley and family:
Peg and I are so deeply saddened and crushed to learn of Greg's passing. My mind fills with many wonderful memories and times shared...and your wonderful hospitality to me in your home. I still have the "green rocks" that we discovered in your garden and now will keep them in a place of honor.
Greg and I shared many of the same HR challenges, but he was the master of sorting out the real issues. Our conversations were always filled with laughter, some serious moments, memories - - but always sharing of spirt and love. Like you, we will truly miss him.
. Greg knew this well...and he and I shared a similar belief as that of the Cherokee people in my native mountains of North Carolina. Specifically, the belief that if we speak the name of the departed, their spirit remains with us - - and we will say , with honr, Greg's name often as his spirit looks over you, his family...and all of us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you navigate these rough waters. Let us know if there is evr anythng we can do for you.
With love....Mike & Peg DeBruhl

Gregory was a truly a man of distinction who brought light and love to this world - and all around him - especially his devoted and loving wife and my dearest friend and birthday-mate, Shirley. He will be missed and always remembered!

The Inflatable Birthday Cake
I met Greg in Alexandria,VA in 1984. We have been good friends all those years. In 1985, he gave me an inflatable birthday cake. For the past 26 years I have a photo of me with the cake from Washington DC to Hawaii, to San Francisco, Tahiti, Mexico, Las Vegas and most recently Venice Beach, CA. I will continue to have b-day photos with this cake as long as I can keep it inflated by holding the valve. The cake will continue to be a symbol of the many fun times and wonderful memories I have had with Greg and then beginning in 1990's with my dear friend & "sister" Shirley. I have re-read many times the special b-day card he wrote me for my birthday in March. Party on...Gregory. I will always treasure our many memories. With Love, Janice

I met Gregory in Alexandria, VA around 1984. Gregory was a friend you could never forget. I either cherished my time with him or wondered how we both were going to get out of jail; well I guess I cherished all the experiences I shared with him. I feel the void of him on earth but I know he is up their reorganize the place and waiting to greet us all.
My condolences to his family and his lovely wife, Shirley.

I am honored to have known Gregory. Simply put, I was the massage therapist every Saturday morning and I received in so many ways. I felt loved and healed by spending all those hours with him. No matter what the day was like, I always left with a happier spirit.
Shirley, my thoughts are with you
.I know what the two of you shared.
I send love and healing, Kelleen

I am so saddened to read of Greg's passing. The world has lost a bright, colorful light.
I worked with Greg over 25 years ago (at PRC), and still have fond and funny memories of those days. One business trip to California comes to mind, where he took it upon himself to give me the 'nickel tour'--of the entire coastal highway, complete with drinks at the Palm Beach Country Club--where he acted like we owned the place.
I will keep his family in my prayers, and wish him peace.
