Raymundo “Ray” Vigil, Jr.

Age 84, of Santa Fe went to be with our Lord on Monday August 8, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was an Airborne Ranger in the Army served during The Korean War. He was a carpenter and loved to work in his shop making crosses, tables, ladders, furniture and when you visited, he would make sure you were going home with something he made. He loved his Lord and Savior, his wife, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty M. Vigil, grandson Aaron Ray Vigil, parents Raymundo and Barbara Vigil, Brothers, Chris, Carlos, Macario Sisters, Katy, Rose, and Melba.

He is survived by his sisters, Lorraine (Steve), Tessie (Ray), Toni (Sam, Lillian. His Sons; Henry Vigil (Christine), Rudy Vigil, Daughters; Sylvia Villareal (Phil), Barbara Vigil, Elizabeth Bejarano (Matt), Grandchildren; Jerome Ortiz (Venus), Miranda Villareal, Jennifer Vigil (Anthony) Anthony Salazar, Andrew Vigil (Savannah) Stephanie Chavez (Eric) April Vigil, Kirsten Gudiel (Louie), Jorden Bejarano, Rylee Bejarano.  Great Grandchildren, Amara, JT, Joshua, Dominique, Angelo, Jordan, Isaac, Aria, Lucas, Caleb, Josiah, Ariana, and Aviana.  

Memorial Service will be at Blaze Christian Fellowship on 8/25/22 at 10:00 a.m. followed by reception and burial at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
