I’m Special
I’m special. In all the world there is nobody
like me.
Since the beginning of time, there has never
been another person like me. Nobody has
my smile. Nobody has my eyes, my nose,
my hair, my hands, my voice. I’m special.
In all of time there has been no one who laughs
like me, no one who cries like me. And
what makes me laugh and cry will never
provoke identical and tears from
anybody else, ever…
I’m the only one in all of creation who has my
set of abilities. Oh, there will always be
somebody who is better at one of the things
I’m good at, but no one in the universe can
reach the quality of my combination of
talents, ideas, abilities and feelings.
Through all of eternity no one will ever look,
talk walk, think or do like me. I’m special!
I’m rare!
And, as in all rarity, there is great value.
Because of my great rare value, I need not
attempt to imitate others. I will accept
yes, celebrate- my differences.
I’m special. And I’m beginning to realize it’s
no accident that I’m special. I’m beginning
to see that God made me special for a very
special purpose. He must have a job for me
that no one else can do so well as I. Out
of all billions of applicants, only one is
qualified, only one has the right combination
of what it takes.
That one is me. Because – I’m special.

Auntie Beva, Melanie and RD,
My deepest condolences to you and all the family. Uncle Raymond was always so kind and loving every time me and my family came to visit. Like my mom said, he would always welcome you into his home and make sure you were well take of. I will always remember his jokes, laughter and story time. Uncle Raymond was kind hearted soul and may his soul now rest in peace in the kingdom of God. You will be missed but we know you are now among many angles watching over us. Until we see you again, take care uncle and may you flourish in the kingdom of heaven.
Love,

Family of Ray Ortega, So very heart broken to hear the news of my friend Ray’s passing. He was such an AWESOME person when he worked at our building the SCC in Los Alamos. When ever I’d see Ray he always had his famous greeting “ I hear you Leroy, I hear you, just the way he said it was AWESOME. I remember that he retired from the guards and came to work with us at Compa as an escort. I hadn’t seen him in a long time but I will treasure his FRIENDSHIP. He always talked HIGHLY of his family. I send you all my most sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of this GREAT man Ray Ortega. Know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. God’s blessings to you all today, tomorrow and in the days to come.
Deepest sympathy,
Leroy Sanchez

Beva, Malony, & Domonic, Yes Raymond was indeed Special! One of a kind! When we would go visit, he was always so welcoming. He would greet us at the door with a beautiful smile. Welcome, come in! It’s so nice to see you guys, have a seat, and can I get you something to drink? Always so generous and he would make you feel right at home. I loved our conversations, full of joy and laughter. He used to like to tease me & I was so gullible. This is what I loved about him and when I think of him, this is how I will always remember Raymond! Loving and kind, beautiful smile, good sense of humor, a little bit of a character! Lol
May he now Rest In Peace in God’s loving arms.

To the family of Ray Ortega, my condolences. Raymond made me feel welcome from the minute we met at COMPA. He knew how to make everyone around him happy. I can recall him singing at a Christmas party on a Karaoke machine, he was great. I will miss his smile, his jokes and his great attitude. The COMPA family will always be grateful to have had him as an employee.
