I have so many special memories of Rick, from teaching him drums, hiking in the canyons near his childhood home, racing around in our cars, camping, driving to band practice the summer that Johnny got his driver’s license.
Rick was a wonderful friend and great person.
My condolences to Johnny and his parents, Ricky will always be missed.
Sincerely,

Bill Mudd

Perhaps Constance Parker Graham said it best - "When those we love have left this earth, we still can feel them near. We will see a picture, hear a song, and it is just like they were here. When we call upon our faith, when we believe and trust, we know the ones we care about are always close to us" Rick was a very dear friend. He was only a phone call away when I needed home and auto maintenance, a hardy laugh, someone to re-live the most recent Nascar race and play music trivia or a lunch buddy. I will miss our lunch dates at China Moon and our great "fortune cookie debates". The world has lost an amazing man, but his legacy lives on in the memories we hold. My condolences to the family.
