Richard Arthur Lury, of Espanola, New Mexico, age 69, passed away February 2, 2024. Richard was born March 9, 1954 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the late Robert Horace and Marie Trujillo Lury. He is also preceded in passing by his infant brother, Frankie. Richard was a talented upholsterer.
Richard is survived by his children, Destiny, Art, and Seth; step-mother, Carolyn Lury-Campos (David Campos); siblings, Franci (Everet), Robert (Cindy), Linda (Mike), Patricia (Brett), Kimberly (Chad), Tammy, James (Ann); and many extended family members and friends.
Rivera Family Funeral and Cremations Espanola has been entrusted with his care.

In memory of a really nice guy and a great athlete. Some people that cross our paths in our own lifetime are just not forgotten. And the laughter. I am sorry to read of Richards passing. I knew Richard through grammar school and Junior high. His family lived down the arroyo from ours. My family moved to California so I never saw him again. I also read that his dad Robert passed away a few years back in Texas and his Mom, Marie several years back. My condolence to his siblings. I always thought of Richard and his family through the years.

My condolences to the Richard Lury family. At one time in our lives we were good friends. The last 8 years I lost him and now I'm sad to see of his passing. I loved him and his mother Maria. Couple of years we celebrated our birthdays together. His mom had a singing voice of an angel. God Bless you in heaven RITCHY!!
