I was taken aback by the news of Riley's passage, and please accept my heart-felt condolences for your family's loss.
I met Riley, Joan and his daughters ~35 years ago in Ridgeland, MS through mutual friends Richard and Sandra McCary.
Riley was the embodiment of an intelligent free-spirit with charisma and panache. He was a "Wiz" of a CPA, who made it all look so easy. It was clear to see that Riley was a well-respected Prince of a fellow, and loved his family dearly.
My heart goes out to Ms. Joan, his wonderful daughters and grandchildren because you were clearly in the heart and hands of greatness, as was he.
There's no doubt in my mind that the Lord needed a professional and trustworthy CPA to watch his affairs, and now he has the very best.
Truly many lives will not be the same without this wonderful gentlemen, husband, father and grandfather. Please allow your family and friends to take comfort and solace knowing you are watching over them from a better place.
Rest in Peace my good friend.
