Robert "duce" Martinez

Robert "Duce" Martinez – Age 40 a resident of Española passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007. He was preceded in death by his by his paternal and maternal grandparents. May their souls rest in peace. He was a huge Raider fan and an all together avid sports lover. He loved construction and building things. He loved his children and was an adoring father. He is survived by his children: Robert Martinez, Jr. of Santa Fe and Kevin and Taylor Martinez of San Juan; parents: Tony D. and Rose Martinez of Chama; brothers; Michael Martinez and wife Vicki of Santa Fe, Richard Martinez and wife Edna of Albuquerque and Steve Martinez and wife Yolette of Santa Fe; sisters: Genieve Halloway and husband Gene of Denton, Texas, Judy Martinez, Toni Gallegos and husband Henry of Chama, Egnita Ulibarri and husband Johnny of Chama and Sandra Martinez of Chama and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with father Clement officiating. Burial to follow at the Chama Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Robert Martinez, Jr., Christopher Martinez, Chris Gallegos, Michael Martinez, Steve Martinez, Richard Martinez and Johnny Ulibarri, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Johnny Ulibarri, Sr., Henry Gallegos, Sr., Henry Gallegos, Jr., Gene Halloway, Sr., Rosella Valdez, Phillip Gallegos and James Martinez.
