Robert M. Martinez

Mr. Robert M. Martinez, age 62 of Espanola, NM. died peacefully on Tuesday March 19, 2013. He treasured time spent with his children & grandchildren, going fishing and the outdoors, seeking out antiques, and spoiling his pet dog "Kujo". He will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his mother Ignacita Aguirre, siblings: Begnino Martinez, Barbara Martinez, Jerry Martinez, Paul Martinez and stepmother Bea Martinez.

He is survived by son Robert Martinez (Annabelle) of Fairview, daughter Melissa Martinez of Fairview, and Max Martinez of El Llano, father Jake Martinez of Ensenada, the mother of his children; Pauline Martinez, and siblings; Eddie Martinez (Ersie)of Fairview, Gloria Martinez of Tierra Amarilla, Chris Martinez (Laverne) of Ensenada, Pauline Bustos of Hernandez, Roseann Gallegos (Larry) of Santa Cruz, Freida Martinez of Ensenada, Fatima Barry of Albuquerque and Yvonne Polaco of Albuquerque, grandchildren Brandy Garcia, Andrew Saiz, Robert Martinez and Lorenzo Martinez, many nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation and rosary were held on March 21, 2013 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Espanola. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 22, 2013 at La Iglesia De La Santa Cruz De La Canada. Interment followed at Martinez family plot in Tierra Amarilla.
