Ronald (KC) J Martinez, Jr.

Ronald J. Martinez Jr. was born January 25, 1974 and passed away at the age of 47 on August 12, 2021.

He was full of life and liked to joke around. He loved his family. Always talked to everyone no matter who they were. He loved sports, fishing, and his dog Gordo. He was a longtime fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald J. Martinez Sr. and Minnie Bird. Paternal grandparents, Emilio and Julia Martinez. Maternal grandfather Leonard Whitehouse. Uncles, Jerry Martinez, Sabie and Stanley Bird.

Ronald is survived by his children, Arianna (A.J.), Jessica and Joel Martinez, Brothers Cyrus (Twyla) Martinez, Allen (Janis) Bird. Lifelong best friend who he considered a brother, Chris Gipson. Nephews, Jojo Duran, Jeff, Joe and Nate Bird. Nieces, Talia Martinez and Josephine Bird. A cousin who he called sister, Shawna Martinez and her children Dakota, Cheyenne, Ronnie and Percy Bullcoming, Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Pallbearers were Jojo Duran, Jeff, Joe and Nate Bird, Dakota and Ronnie Bullcoming, Garrette Martinez, Dino Gipson, Mike Losey, and Ezekiel Martinez.

Viewing was held on August 16, 2021 at 8 a.m. at the Rivera Family Funeral Home. Burial followed at 9 a.m. at the Ohkay Owingeh Cemetary.
