Rose Anne Norris

Rose Anne Norris passed away peacefully on September 9, 2020 after many years of care at home. 

Rose was born in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico and spent her life in northern New Mexico. Rose was fond of living simply, even giving birth to her son, Joe, at home. She is remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was surrounded by pets in her passing that will miss her warm presence, as well. Rose kept her loved ones busy in her last years and her company will be greatly missed at home. 

A member of the Catholic faith, Rose was devoted to God and to helping others. She enjoyed passing time outside doing yardwork. In the true fashion of a Rose, she adored the color red, and flowers of all kinds. In the days of nickel machines, Rose would even occasionally visit the casino.  

A church service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at The Rock Christian Fellowship in Espanola, followed by a burial in Alcalde.
