On Tuesday March 26, 2024 the sun set for Rudolfo “Rudy” David Sanchez, loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, at age 69.


The sun rose for Rudy on November 14, 1954. Born to Pasqual and Bertha Sanchez and raised in Gallina, New Mexico, Rudy played basketball for Coronado High School, afterwards he worked in engineering and surveying. Rudy had a kind spirit, he loved animals and had an amazing eye for detail and a green thumb. He found great pleasure in simple living. Rudy loved to be outside in nature. Rudy was preceded in sunset by his Sisters Pamela and Abigail, his brother Joel, his mother Bertha, and his Brother Eduardo “Eddie”. He is survived by his father Pasqual, his wife Darlene, his daughter Brandy and grandson Roman and bonus son Larry, sisters, Sylvia, Mary and Pamela (Ray), his brother Steven (Gina), his maternal aunts Irene (Floyd) and Dixie and his paternal aunt Pauline (Herman), nieces Michelle, Katherine, Rachel, Victoria, Alex, nephews, Stephen and Ray. And several great nieces, nephews,cousins and many friends.


Memorial service will be held April 20, 2024 at 12PM at The Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Gallina, NM.
