I remember Sal from junior high and high school. He was in my drama class, and I recall his being a wonderful person. He was friendly with everyone and I am sorry to see him go.

Amanda nothing can bring Salvador back, but knowing how many people loved and respected him maybe can ease the pain somewhat.
We are all grateful for Sara's wedding because there is where his other family Step Sisters Sara & Liz, Madeleine, Jeremy & Adam all greeted him in Fiendship & Love.
It's undertood how much Tom & I thought of him as our Step Grandson, he will always be in my Heart as "Big Sal" to "Little Sal", he will be remembered by us for the rest of our lives.

Amanda, I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Sal's passing. I am glad I saw him and spoke to him in Aug. at Sara's wedding. I will always remember his smile and his sweet and pleasant personality. I know the pain you are feeling and pray that you will find some peace and solace in knowing that others care.

I remember Sal from Amanda's pet food store. I would bring my pug, George, in sometimes and Sal would be there. If it wasn't for George, I don't know If I would of gotten to know Sal just a little bit. I remember him as a great joker and a lovely person. I want to extend my greatest love for all of Sal's family,and I want you to know that you are in my heart. I've known Sal since 7th grade. He was always somebody that was full of life, joking, laughing, and always positive. I really wish I could have been there tonight to celebrate the person that Sal was, and will always be remembered for. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Salvador will always be missed by his Step Grandparents.(Tom & Sally Blankenhorn)He affectionately called "Sally Little Sal" & he was "Big Sal".When ever we would see each other Big Sal would always give Little Sal a friendly Kiss.
Our Hearts are boken and racked with pain, he will never be forgotten for as long as we live.

Sal will be rememberd as a great friend who I had the pleasure of spending time with last year here in Steamboat. Sal will be badly missed by his friends and co-workers of whom he shared many great times with in Steamboat. I will remember the great times we had together wheather it was skiing, playing dominos, or just having a few beers. Every time I hike up North St. Pats or the canyon I will think about you and the great moments we shared together. Miss you buddy. To Sal's family I send my deepest sympathy.

To the Family and Friends of Salvador Olonia,
Salvador graced my life by allowing me the privilege of teaching him in acting classes at UNM in the Department of Theatre and Dance and directing him in his last production at UNM TWELFTH NIGHT.
Each day he entered my classroom my respect for him grew. He was an amazing actor and an even more amazing human being. Salvadors dry sense of humor made my day. I smile as I write this remembering the wonderful jabs exchanged and the laughs that filled the theatre. The theatre-world can be so full of ego driven, vicious people, but not Salvador
.never a cruel or destructive comment came from his mouth. I adored him. His peers adored him.
I am so extremely sorry for your lost and the enormous lost to the world of a creative, talented, kind, perceptive, and caring young man. If only the world was blessed with a million Salvadors. No words can ease your pain, but know that Salvador Olonia was respected and loved by many and we are better people for having him in our lives.

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of Sal. Sal was a great guy. I had the privilege of acting in two plays with Sal while he was at the university. He was one of the best actors I've worked with, but also one of the friendliest. He will be greatly missed.

I was lucky enough to get to know Sal better than ever this summer. I never got to know the "real" Sal up until that time and I am so glad that I did. Although it makes it that much harder to see him go, I feel blessed to have been able to see what a special and unique guy he really is. I would like to think that my brother, who passed away, is going to be taking care of him now because I know they are similar in so many ways. I know it will be tough but Sal is in a better place and we will all miss him tremendously.
