STELLA SOSAYA MONTOYA

Age 86, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. She was born September 10, 1926. She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the daughter of Augustine and Victoria Sosaya, deceased. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Eloy J. Montoya, who passed away March 20, 2012; brother Augustine Sosaya Jr.; sisters: Mary Sosaya, Florence Conley, Angela Biddle and Anita Nelson.

She is survived by her sister, Monica Sosaya Halford; children and their spouses: Maria (Michael) Allbritton, Robert Montoya, Kathy (Aresnio) Cordova, Carol Wulff, Kenny (Margaret) Montoya; special granddaughters: Angela Ortega and Danielle Herrera. Stella was also survived by 6 more grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous loving relatives and friends. Stella held a special love for her great grandchildren whom she loved very much and talked about constantly. They were the light of her life.

A Rosary will be recited at St. Anne Catholic Church, 511 Alicia Street at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
