Steve Emilio Montoya, Sr. "The Wildman", Vietnam Veteran of La Puebla – Age 58 passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2008. He was a poet and kind man. He was preceded in death by his parents: Casimiro and Ramoncita Montoya, Sr.; brothers and sisters: Eugenio, Frances, Bernie, and Casey Montoya, Jr. and Cordy Martinez. May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his 2 sons: Steve Montoya, Jr. and Lilliana and Jeremy Montoya and companion Patricia; brothers and sisters: Rita Maestas, Ramona Pena, Tommy Montoya, Matias Montoya, Jennie Lucero, RoseMary Maez, Bernie Diaz and Frankie Montoya; grandchildren: Jeremy Montoya, Jr., Geneva Montoya, Steve Montoya III, Andrea Montoya and a grandchild on the way and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary for the repose of the soul of Steve Emilio Montoya, Sr. will be recited on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary.
