Susan Renay Johnson

Susan Renay Johnson passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at her home in Des Montes, New Mexico. Susan was born in 1957 in Abilene, Texas, where she grew up and went to high school. She was the oldest of 6 children with 4 sisters and one brother. Susan moved to New Mexico around 1994 and married Dennis Johnson in 1995. She loved her dogs and her horses. She spent time reading, camping at Valle Vidal and going on trips with her best friend Kim. She was a hard worker and quick to offer whatever she had to all who came to their home. She wanted to make sure everyone had what they needed, especially Dennis. 

Susan was blessed to marry the love of her life, and with Dennis, she lived her best life. She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Dennis Johnson, her son, Jason Solis, her sisters, Suzette Flowers Simons, Dorthy Flowers Ramirez, Regina Flowers McFall and Melissia Rashell Flowers McClanahan, her brother, Ray Flowers, her best friend Kimberly Hamilton Christian and Dennis’ children, Eileen Johnson, Troy (Cheryl) Johnson, their children Michael, Alexandria and Joelle, Sheli (Mark) Bechaver and their children Chelsea, Bryce and Joshua, Blake (Alicia) Johnson and their children Kylee, Kristen and Katelyn and Wendy Perkins and her children Cheridan, Brody and Brylee.
