Theresa Sena

Theresa (Teri) A. Sena Gurule was called home into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was born February 8, 1947 to Tomas and Louise (Cockrell) Sena. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her brother Michael Sena, grandsons Carlos Baca and Braden Albert Herrera, father-in-law Modesto Gurule, and brother-in-law Modesto M. Gurule, Jr. She is survived by her husband Joseph Gurule, step-son Joey (Melissa) Gurule, son Glenn Herrera (Veronica), daughters Danine Baca and Karen Herrera, adopted daughter Emily Gurule, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, mother-in-law Rita Gurule, and brother-in-law Robert Gurule. Teri retired from the State of New Mexico and enjoyed doing arts and crafts of all kinds, spending time with family and friends, and rooting for the Denver Broncos. We will gather to celebrate her life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at San Isidro Parish Center 3552 Agua Fria St, Santa Fe, NM. Rosary will be at 10:30, followed by a funeral mass at 12:15. Pallbearers will be Glenn Herrera and Joey Gurule. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandson.
