Timothy (Tim) Reed White passed away on April 9, 2024, in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. Seventy-five years young, Tim was born on November 4, 1948, in Boone, Iowa. Raised in Phoenix, Arizona, he attended Central High School where he excelled at wrestling, winning the State Championship and as a baseball pitcher. Tim valiantly served in the United States Army in the Vietnam conflict from 1966 through 1969. During his military service, he welcomed a baby girl, Shawna Michelle. After his military service, Tim welcomed a second daughter, Aimee Nichole. After a successful entrepreneurial career where Tim created and managed solar energy, real estate development, and end-of-life service businesses, Tim found love again with his wife, Flora Flores in 1994 when they built a life of laughter, adventure, and family for over 30 years of marriage.

Tim’s love and profound respect for his country and fellow military service personnel and veterans defined the remainder of his life. His dedication to veterans, family, dear friends, and community is evident through his countless acts of compassion, kindness, and generosity. He happily shared his passion for competitive and recreational fishing, travel, and love of sports, especially his Cowboys. His exceptional gastronomic experiences and expeditions reflect Tim’s love of life and people. He enjoyed his summer home located in Sandia Park, New Mexico. Tim treasured sharing his international living and travel experiences holding a special place in his heart for his friends and neighbors in his adopted hometown of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Flora, and their blended family, including daughter, Shawna Estrada & son-in-law Rand Pawling, daughter, Aimee White, sons, Scott and Shane Wyche, grandsons Daniel Gregory, Ezra Anderson, Lawrence Wyche, granddaughters Maddie White and Dr. Alejandra Murillo, and great-grandson, Joseph White. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Duanna and Earl Treulich, sister, Jan Melton and granddaughter, Brycelee Wyche. He is lovingly remembered by multiple generations of family and dear friends. A Veteran memorial service will be held at Rivera Family Funeral Home, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 am, located at 417 Rodeo Rd., Santa Fe, NM 87505 and will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery, In place of floral arrangements, Tim’s family is requesting contributions to be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust.
