Biography


Toni Quintana, 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. She owned the Club Tropicana, a family business, for several years.


Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Andres and Elvira Quintana, her brothers Jose L, Ray and Eloy Quintana, her sisters Mary Martinez, Marquez, Matilda Quintana and Audree Haud.


She is survived by her special nephew and niece Edward and Madeline Marquez, Also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who she loved and who loved her dearly.


Toni was born and raised in Espanola. She moved to California and lived and worked there as a nanny for 40 years, until her return to Espanola. She loved to sew, go to casinos, and travel. She was always available to lend a hand or offer wise motherly advice. She was always patient and never judging. Everyone will remember her as a caring and loving person. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.


 Funeral services are pending. The family of Toni Quintana has entrusted the care of their loved one to Rivera Family Funeral Home and Cremation of the Espanola Valley.
