Wilma J. Driskell

Wilma J. Driskell, 67, of Taos passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2010. She was born in Embudo, NM to Hacel and Edna Mae Holmes. She was raised in logging camps until they moved to Taos in the late 40s. She married Rudolf Doc Driskell in 1957, where they settled in Taos and owned and operated various businesses including Docs Automotive for 21 years. She is preceded in death by husband, Rudolf Doc Driskell. She is survived by son Russell, wife Bonnie, son, Jamie, wife Carmen, son, Weldon, wife, Yvett, and the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Jalyssa, Jillian and Jerrika, her mother, Grandma Holmes, brother, Sherman Butch Holmes (Lorra) of Tucson, AZ and her sister, Gloria Arlean Romero of Kingman, AZ and many other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral service was held on September 27, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Taos with interment following at the Sierra Vista Cemetery.
